Corruption from the grassroots-

Good evening good elegant  people of Nigeria, i say happy Sunday to you all...and also happy advent to the Christians amongst us.
Today, i sat and thought over the corruption in Nigeria which has gotten to its zenith, and was also looking at the possible ways to curb it,of all the causes i taught of which includes power of god fatherism, selfishnes, the force to acquire power and wealth and so on, buh i came to the conclusion that corruption in Nigeria starts from the grassroots and our various families in particular.
Lets give few instances of things where corruption exists in our various families....
1. As the father in the family working in an establishment, how do you take care of your family ?? when you are paid, do you provide for your family what they need for upright upbringing ,or do you allow them to go out and emulate from bad friends ?Are u fateful to your wife,or do u flirt around ?? and leaving your children to emulate you as they grow....  i beleive you dont see it as corruption..right ?
2. You as the wife, its also your duty to bring up your children in the way that they will grow and never depart from it (proverb 22 vs 6 ) . Again, on your own do you hike prices of goods whenever you want to go for family shopping ?maybe because its your husband that will bring the money, goods of #4,000 you will say its #7,000  is that not corruption ?? or is it smartness ?? remember the children are watching... and they will surely grow up that way..
3.To you the child,do you hike your school fees just to get more money ??? In my school, lots of student do this, how much more will you hike it when you become the president and even this time around, its no more you fathers money..so definitly its going to be embezzlement all the way....
This reminds me of the igbo adage which says "Ana -aru olu,ana -aru ulu, mana ulu akana oru' meaning "as work goes on, foul play goes on but let the foul play not suppercede the work" ..lol..funny one though, let me explain it more with an example .... A cathechist was supervising a work at the parish and the truck man delivering sand was busy cheating, if he brings one trip of sand, he will heap it into two places not knowing that whenever his truck enters, the cathechist will drop one stone by the side, at the end he came to collect money for double of what he did,so the cathechist told him how he counted everything so the truck man ended up saying the above adage.....
So my fellow Nigerians this corruption in our country can best be tackled from our various families..
thank you all and remain blessed.
