Popular beauty blogger is facing murder charges after she hid two pregnancies then killed the babies after they were born

A make-up artist is facing murder charges after she allegedly covered up two pregnancies then killed the babies when they were born by throwing them away in the trash.

Alyssa Anne Dayvault, 30, was exposed after she was taken to hospital suffering vaginal bleeding. While at the hospital in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, she delivered a placenta and umbilical cord but no child. She later admitted to police that she had given birth to a boy at home.

A police warrant said: 

The defendant stated that the child was born alive and took multiple gasping breaths after having been born.

The defendant further stated that she failed to secure medical treatment and did not personally take action to attempt to preserve/save the infant’s life.

The defendant then disposed of the child’s body in a waste receptacle at her residence in NMB without seeking help or notifying authorities.

Alyssa, who was popular on social media for always sharing her make up and hairstyle creations, is also accused of disposing a second baby shortly after a home birth on November 4, 2017.

The warrant added: 

During the course of the investigation police obtained medical records which indicated that on 11/4/2017 the defendant was in her third trimester of a pregnancy and that the fetus had a healthy heart tone.

 She is currently being held without bond at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
